Blue pencil Mr McCann?

I believe from the statement that Cast Iron made at the time Lord Leveson delivered his report he was against crossing "... the rubicon of writing elements of press regulation into the law of the land."
Which of course didn't go down too well with all the vested interests intent on bridling/muzzling the Press in this country.
Well Cast Iron seems to be on a bit of a roll at the moment. Another EU referendum has been promised if we stick with him. He's got his gay marriage legislation thru the HoC at it's first attempt - more fun later. Been into the EU lion's den and tamed their budget aspirations.
Now the news agenda looks like it is galloping away (excuse the pun!) from anything to do with the Leveson Inquiry.
So excuse me whilst I get my old tin foil cap on at the sudden reappearance of the McCanns.
Aided and abetted by those slippery eels at the Guardian, whose headline to accompany the McCanns piece, seem to imply a majority backing for Gerry McCann's demands.
