Well it's my last Monday at home, I've got my fingers crossed (phones off as well) that we will be crew changing on Wednesday and not Tuesday - Thursday would be even better!
I'm just wondering if it might not be Corporal Clegg's last week in charge of a political squad?
Our political elite never seem to learn that it is usually the uncovering of the cover-up that leads to one seeking more time with one's family. Than the original sin that was committed in the first place.
I'm sorry to say that such is the distain I now have for our politicians that when I hear one of them saying something along the lines of -
"I am angry and outraged at the suggestion that ..."
The lie detector in my head goes into automatic mode completing it as -
"... I have been caught out telling lies!"
As for the way he was trying to dump it all on Danny Alexander, poor leadership there at the best or, the way of the coward.
Pausing for a moment to don my old uniform tin-foil cap, it is very interesting all this Lib/Dem broon stuff has hit the fans when it has, a little bit of Conservative revenge?
With the timing of the stiletto sliding into Corporal Clegg's back just as polling is about to happen in the Eastleigh bye election!
I don't think it's UKIP doing the stirring, as both the Beeb and other MSM strongly anti UKIP, are the front leaders in the assault upon Clegg's position. Still we all know from the Buffty frae Kirkcaldy Years how murky/double crossing political back stabbing can be!
